I have that in my 'graphicsConfig.ini' in Eldevin game directory, which is on Software rendering, I don't know how software rendering goes for Macs but it works perfectly in Windows .
If you can find the Eldevin game directory in Mac, you might find some file like 'graphicsConfig' open it like a text and change Renderer into 'hardware_newt' or 'hardware'.
This is for newt.
Renderer = hardware_newt
Window Mode = window
Full Browser = false
Resolution = 1024x768
Limit Frame Rate = false
Frame Rate = 30
Texture Filter = bilinear
Anisotropy = 4
View Distance = 0
Low Texture Mode = true
This is for Java.
Renderer = hardware
Window Mode = window
Full Browser = false
Resolution = 1024x768
Limit Frame Rate = false
Frame Rate = 30
Texture Filter = bilinear
Anisotropy = 4
View Distance = 0
Low Texture Mode = true
Edit: I heard '.conf' is the file extension for Configuration type of files in Mac
Edit: Tehehehehehe, I was trying to say, Edit the Config file manually
