Add a stamina bar with fixed stamina for everyone, say 100 stamina, the reason for that would be for use of sprint. When you sprint it takes 20 stamina per second and when it uses all the stamina it regens back slowly at the cost of 1 stamina per 10 seconds so people wont abuse it. Have the sprint speed set at 200% run speed.

200% run speed would be far too much. just go ask for the ranger buff and get the obliesk buff or a glim zirc

This is for those who are in pvp and need get away or to get away in PVE so they don't die. Not everyone can have a ranger friend or buddy nearby who could do that or be near the Obelisk icecrvfter666.

you have a warrior talent that makes you zap at 400% speed.

you have fleet foot.

you have swift stride

you have flash freeze

This would make a very interesting one point talent for a leather assassin.  Would this be enough to make leather worth it?

No need for stamina bar, just have it drain Mana at a ridiculous rate.

Fun for pve, especially those irritatin quests which need lot of running and no dragons nearby ,sprinting is good, but every class has a talent to move fast as susej has mentioned ..

 

For pvp i dont think its a good idea .

Haven't you noticed that you are actually running all the time?!?! If you hold [ctrl] you walk. So running is already in the game, so is the idea: make the running limited? And as said before, there are many ways already to increase movement speed. 

 

Check my post on this thread if you still need more movement speed.

EDIT: we see many stable and idle horses all over  EC, must be there for a reason.

Just joking, but as I wrote in the post in the thread, if we want to travel faster, get mounts.
