We have decided to trim down the number of Stickies in Newbie Help to just one. This one! In this thread, we shall add links to threads that are deemed useful to new players. I have added those that used to be stickied, bar a few which were out of date.

here's jagger4man's list of sets they did a wonderful job on it !!

There is a new site were u can make your own setup. It is realy great and the chances are great that you come up with the setups suggested on the hunting setup list.

to make your best setup:

• put your max level in level range to remove all sets above level
• sort the sets by clicking on dam ratio (this will set highest damage first)
• pick the first set u want (the highest if u can afford or lower one if that one is cheaper) and enter his number under set combinations
• the site will remove all sets that don't fit, so you can add another set like in last step

you can try some different combinations, depending on what sets u pick the stats will be different (and might even have more damage)

- RP means Reputation Points

- Attack same player every 2 minutes 

- Conflict lasts 24 hours

- Targets should have "Conflict" button. No "Conflict" button, no attack!!!

- Attacks ending in a draw are counted as a loss, not win. Deflected attacks don't count 

- Guild initiated attackers can only complete 25 attacks. When hit "Conflict" button, statement appears saying your attacks are complete. No statement of completion, continue attacking!!! 

- Defending Guild attackers don't have attack limits 

- no benefit using more than 10 stamina per attack. Don't waste stam!!!

- Win or lose, both sides can earn RP when completing Guild required attacks!!!

11. If applies, hunt for global creature giving higher kill value.

 

12. Some GE's may have an associated Quest. For kill X number of creatures type quests, use also Quest Hunter (QH) buff. When finished with quest, can remove QH.
